Don't Worry Mon, Be Happy! PanJam in Kemah, Texas is October 11, 2008!

PanJam is authentic Caribbean steel drum, calypso music and reggae singers who have performed all over the world, at events ranging from backyard parties to Presidential receptions. The streets of the Kemah Lighthouse District comes alive with the lively beat of steel drums and fire dancers as the annual Kemah PanJam Steel Drum Fest sets up shop on Saturday, October 11, 2008.

We hope to see you at PanJam this year. Make plans now to enjoy the celebration and spend the weekend in Kemah where there's local accommodations a'plenty mon.

Activities Planned For You!

Hey Mon- Hope you got your calendar marked to join us for the PanJam activities. Our response has been overwhelming for this event! Sixth Street in Kemah will be the place to be.

The fun starts at 10 a.m. and carries on until 10 p.m. There are lots of ice-cold beverages and festival foods available from the booths along 6th Street. Admission is free!

There are arts and crafts booths offering a variety of fun items. If you are feeling lucky, there is a big prize raffle. This year PanJam Heats Up with a special event.

The kick off celebration is on Friday, October 3rd from 6 PM - 10 PM at Zone 504 in the Kemah Lighthouse District. The public is invited and Admission is Free. Light hor’dourves.will be served and entertainment will be provided by Hannah's Reef.
